Tan Sri Dr Nik Norzrul Thani N. Hassan Thani

Tan Sri Dr. Nik’s distinguished academic journey boasts a robust foundation in law. He achieved his LL.B (Hons) degree from the prestigious University of Buckingham, followed by an LL.M from Queen Mary College, University of London. Further demonstrating his commitment to legal scholarship, he earned a Ph.D. in Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He is also a Barrister at Law, affiliated with the distinguished Lincoln’s Inn. Currently, Tan Sri Dr. Nik holds the esteemed position of Chairman and Senior Partner at Zaid Ibrahim & Co, a prominent law firm with a significant footprint in ASEAN, further bolstered by its association with ZICO Holdings Inc, a multidisciplinary professional services firm listed on the Catalist of SGX-ST. Notably, Zico Holdings has entered a strategic partnership with Yamada Consulting Group to provide vital funding for ASEAN SMEs, showcasing Tan Sri Dr. Nik’s involvement in fostering regional economic growth. His influence extends beyond the legal realm as he sits on the board of various established companies and serves as Vice-Chairman of Yayasan Kurang Upaya Kelantan, a notable non-governmental organization (NGO).

Datuk Surendran Menon

Director
Datuk Surendran Menon, a graduate of the University Teknologi Malaysia with a Master of Science in Transport Planning, boasts over twenty-five years of multifaceted experience in Engineering, ICT, and Management, particularly in the design and construction of substantial projects spanning Power, Co-Generation, Coal, Steel, Waste Handling, and Bulk terminals. With a track record of successfully executing projects exceeding RM 1.0 Billion over the past decade, his career traverses diverse industries, from commercial shipping to the development and operation of a specialized Floating Storage and Offloading Terminal, followed by ventures in the construction sector, earning him the Builders Award from the Construction Industry Development Board in 2002. He subsequently ventured into the Technology sphere, specializing in Radio Frequency Identification Technology for Healthcare and Fuel Management. Notably, his construction firm has recently achieved milestones in Waste-to-Energy projects. As a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a member of various esteemed professional organizations, Datuk Surendran Menon’s career is a testament to his innovation, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Dato’ Abdol Wahab Baba

Dato’ Abdol Wahab Baba, with over three decades of experience in the KPJ Healthcare Bhd Group, has been a driving force behind its success, progressing from an Accountant at Johor Specialist Hospital to his role as Senior Vice President. With an impressive educational background including an MBA from the University of East London and Harvard University Management Course, he brings a wealth of expertise to the team. His strategic leadership has led to significant achievements, such as turning around KPJ Kuantan Specialist Hospital, leading IPO efforts, initiating hospital projects, and spearheading risk management. Dato’ Abdol Wahab Baba’s invaluable contributions in business development, strategic planning, risk management, and more make him an asset to any team focused on healthcare excellence.

Dato' Dr Khalid Ibrahim

Dato’ Dr Khalid Ibrahim, a distinguished doctor in the field of healthcare, obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malaya between 1980 and 1985. He commenced his career as a Medical Officer at Hospital Kota Bharu in Kelantan, later embarking on a journey of advanced studies and expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in Hospital and Health Service Management at South Bank University London from 1995 to 1996. His dedication to healthcare administration and leadership led him to serve as Hospital Director at two significant institutions: Hospital Tanah Merah from 1997 to 2006 and Hospital Sungai Buloh from 2007 to 2018. In 2018, he achieved the prestigious position of Selangor State Health Director. Dato Dr. Khalid’s influence extends beyond administrative roles, as he is renowned as a motivational speaker and a leadership trainer for the Ministry of Health (MOH), actively participating in national-level quality programs. He further amplifies his impact as the Chairman of various steering committees within MOH. Notably, he spearheaded the development of a groundbreaking program for MOH, the “Ibadah Friendly Hospital and Spiritual Care,” aiming to integrate spirituality into hospital settings. Beyond his national contributions, Dato Dr. Khalid is actively engaged in international humanitarian aid efforts, demonstrating his commitment to global health and well-being.

Dr Helmy Nadine Haja Mydin

Dr. Helmy Nadine Haja Mydin, an accomplished physician and Associate Professor at the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, holds a stellar academic record, including a Certificate of Completion of Training in general and respiratory medicine from the UK’s Royal College of Physicians. With a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, his expertise spans healthcare reform, tobacco control, and airways disease. Dr. Helmy actively contributes to professional committees, including the British Thoracic Society, and boasts numerous peer-reviewed publications and international presentations. He plays a pivotal role in shaping healthcare policy in Malaysia, serving on key committees related to smoking cessation, clinical guidelines, and lung cancer screening. Beyond medicine, he’s associated with the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs, advocating market-based solutions to societal challenges, reflecting his dedication to holistic societal well-being.
